Our first trip to Tokyo and picked the hotel on a whim because it was a good price. Whereas here in America, low price usually means poor service & quality, we walked inside and it was almost 5 star quality. The staff were extremely friendly & courteous. There was a 7-11 in the lobby. The Metro stopped right across the street. A bus from our hotel went to the Tokyo Disney resort. You really couldn't ask for anything more. Lots of shops and restaurants around too - and the area looked nice and safe at night. Plus, it is serviced by the airport bus.

This hotel was located right across the street from the Akasaka-Mitsuke metro station. This proved to be very handy since a lot of places like Shinjuku, Ginza, and Roppongi were easily accessible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were typically on the small side, but we expected that and with three adults in one room, it wasn't bad at all. There was a Seven-Eleven mart right on the first floor, which proved to be very convenient to stock up on drinks in our room's mini refrigerator. We didn't try out all the amenities they offered, like room service and the Akasaka Square Dining, but it was a nice place to recharge at the end of the day and to sleep. The bed wasn't that bad at all. The hotel gave us two kinds of pillow. One was filled with beans, and the other was a foam-like pillow. That latter proved to be more preferrable, but you can request cotton and feather pillows. All in all, the hotel and its staff proved to be a great experience. Checking in and checking out wasn't a hassle. If one needs to go to Narita International Airport, the hotel provides tickets for the airport limousine buses. This hotel might not be great for families because of its small room, but for a nice vacation trip with friends, it worked out wonderfully. Lastly, despite the renovations and constructions on the hotel, we didn't hear any noises from the floor we were on (the 12th), so that was no problem at all.
