  I was rather thrilled to check-in this oasis, but to a certain extent I was very disappointed, the brouhaha did not account to much, now for the person who is accustom to lower standard the wild palm is an oasis, to those that are accustomed to relatively fair standard the wild palm is a below standard with its tiny simple rooms, the one I stayed had hole, with a tiny little bathroom, one had to move sideways to get in the shower, the bathroom sink or bowl had a crack and was filthy in the corners. To begin the parking lot was very filthy, and crowed with what looked like abounded cars, the hallway carpet had not been cleaned, the hot tub had white foam bubbling on the surface sign of poor maintained, the gym was tiny with three universal machines, front desk was average and down right rude the young woman who checked us out was absolutely rude, in fact the entire staff is women, with a true hostility toward men, the inn is intended for the rainbow crowd…… if you know what I mean to. The disappointment were too numerous to list when I checked- in, the room were some what clean…. But not up to par. Breakfast was simple o.j, omelet made with eggs from a container, generally though; I’ll be fair and give it a C to B- nothing fancy or holistic just simple

  While I only stayed for one night, I was extremely pleased with the experince! I'm a picky traveler and this room was CLEAN, up-to-date, and very affordable! If I was going to nit-pick I'd say the room could've used fresh carpeting - but really can't complain as ALL the amenities were there! If you need a quick over-night or an extended stay I'd say you can't go wrong with the Wild Palms - they really do it right!

  Really nice motel at a great price,. Good location to get anywhere around the peninsula or silicon valley. Nice euro style rooms with flat sceen TV's and the best bed I have had in a lower priced hotel. An oasis in the middle of strip mall south bay. Good coffee service, easy parking, and nice pool/hottub. The staff was always helpful.

  The Wild Palms is a renovated motel with very good service. The rooms are spread across several buildings surrounding the pool, and so the corridors are not truly interior while the room doors may be in a covered hallway, they really open to the exterior courtyard. The rooms are a good size and nicely maintained. A nice enhancement was the work desk in the room, which included a full-size radio with remote control. The fitness center is very small with only three machines - two cardio plus one weight machine. The breakfast area offers several small tables but there is not a lot of room to walk around them. The breakfast offered was a slight notch above other free breakfast hotels - their cereal selection was small, but also offered some hot options.
