  The hotel was all that we expected and MORE. The staff was extremely helpful and very well mannered. They opened doors , served ladies first, gave us a private room for a small graduation dinner,and were very polite. The rooms were quiet and the beds extremely comfortable-we fell asleep as soon as our heads it the pillow every night. We felt as if we were at a resort. The pool and hot tub were both fun and clean, and the outdoor area for drinks or lunch was beautiful. The only thing we didn't like was the cost of in the room extras. They were very high, so we brought in our own water and wine. The hotel is in close proximity to a Safeway and many great restaurants in both Menlo Park and Palo Alto. Starbucks is served in the morning directly at the hotel,very convenient for us since we are addicted to capucinos and chai lattes. We will say there every time we visit my son and his family.

  The hotel was everything that has been written up in the reviews. I found nothing negative. The furniture was like new. The train went through quick and quietly. What noise you heard was for a mili-second. No rooms were backed up to the train tracks. The staff was friendly, helpful and the dinng was out of this world. I look forward to going back for another vacation, even if it is only to spend it in the hotel. It is a vacation within itself. I did everything I wanted to and more on my six night, seven day trip to get away and had time to read a 400 page book from the excellent library that was at the hotel. The location of the hotel was great for long walks, shopping and/or taking the Stanford Mall Bus to the campus.

  We originally stayed with you for the first 2 nights of our honeymoon 10 years ago and celebrated our 10th anniversary with you. The whole experience was wonderful; the staff was gracious and welcoming, the room was splendid and we had a fantastic time. Cannot wait to recommend you to friends, family and business associates.
