  Room was fine, continental breakfast was fine, the desk staff were fine. place is extremely convenient to the interstate and anything in salem you'd want to go to.

  After making my reservation i called in advance to request a room with a fridge and microwave. after checking in we found the room had not been prepared with these ...

  After making my reservation I called in advance to request a room with a fridge and microwave. After checking in we found the room had not been prepared with these items. My husband and son had quickly changed into pajamas after being on the road 5 hours, while I finished the check in paperwork.The gentleman at the desk was friendly enough to re assign us to a room with these items. It was an inconvenience that could have been avoided if our room had been readied before we arrived. After unpacking my husband went to take a shower and discovered the cold water handle turned, but no water came out! The room also took all night to heat up. I left a request for the manager to call and I have not received a call as of yet. The hotel needs to improve in preparing rooms for travelers.

  Don't know how this hotel received 3 stars. not very clean, in need of major repairs. i don't recommend this hotel.
