My wife and I spent 2 weeks here in the Fall of 2007 and had such a wonderful stay that we vowed to return. We did that sooner than we thought we would, 9 months later, for another 2 weeks! We stayed in the same room we had the first time we stayed there, on the 15th floor facing the Tokyo harbor. We truly enjoyed the view from our balcony of the skyline and the passing boat traffic. The best reason to use this Hotel is the fact that the Yurikamome train station is adjacent to the Hotel and can take you to Shinjuku station where you can access the JR Line that can take you anywhere. There are lots of inexpensive restaurants within walking distance (..ie McDonalds, 7-11 and Starbucks) and the Aqua City Mall, which is next door, has 100's of shops, restaurants with many different cuisines (try Zest) and attractions. We booked many tours while we were there and the Manager personally made all the arraingments for us at no charge. The staff was gracious and hospitable. We were amazed that many of them remembered us from our stay there 9 month earlier. The spa is world class and room service was prompt, hot and delicious. (i once ordered the Jumbo Prawns and Kobe beef hamburg off the kids menu for $20USD, superb!) They have 7 restaurants at the hotel that serve awesome food but the prices are somewhat high but, there are tons of inexpensive alternatives. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The bath has a full tub, separate shower and deluxe Toto Washlette (fancy toilet) We are already planning our 3rd trip back and plan to stay there again. Needless to say but, 'We love the Tokyo Balcony Hotel Nikko!
