  it was very economical for a room with 2 queen beds. We had no problem at check in. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean (but a little smallish) and they had the right amount of towels. The AC worked fine and we had a balcony that we could have gone out on, except that we faced I-94. We were just a few blocks from the NW corner of the airport and I noticed that they had a van that did shuttle service. The pool was clean, but deserted. We had it all to ourselves. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel, which has great breakfasts for a reasonable price. We had a very positive experience here.

  This hotel is located next to an apartment comlex, which had less than desirable occupants. My room, the outdoor area, parking, and front desk matched the apartment comlex. Won't stay here again.

  All the front desk staff act like they don't want to be there. One of them accused us of going ballistic while voicing a concern; we then promptly went ballistic. Been here three days, and still no keys, since their key machine hasn't worked. Have to get security to let us in. And they didn't check to see if we were actually staying in the room, and left the unlocked room unattended while we got there. Iron didn't work; had to go to empty room to swap myself. Crack in window that had been there apparently for a year. The pop machines don't work. Asked for ashtray, none to be found. Though very nice and polite, the housekeeper we had was always in a hurry, since she had to be out at a certain time. Coffee in room coffee maker was worse than instant coffee!!! Other than that, the other staff we encountered was nice and pleasant. Room was clean. 'Gym' provided basic physical fitness. The best cable selection in a budget hotel! It's great if you are low-maintenance and require little to keep you happy. I just found this HoJo experience disappointing, as I have been to others, and had better experiences.

  Parking and shuttle was to be free and we were charged $30.00. We're trying to dispurte it because the travel website said it was free. Travel website is working with us for the refund. I wouldn't stay there again.
