  Hotel was wonderful! Our room was spotless, fresh and well-updated. New,very comfortable mattresses, which were so nice before our 13 hr flight back to the States. Staff was, like everyone else in Australia, friendly and helpful. Hotel is centrally located, so shopping, dining, surfing or just walking around and taking in this beautiful area ---is just outside the front door from the lobby. One drawback--a taxi ride back to the airport;the only certain way to get to flight on time, is over $50 Aus. Just be sure to budget this in your travel costs. It is quite some distance from Gold Coast airport to this central part of the city. Exercise equipment, pool area and tennis courts--all well maintained. This hotel is certainly on my return list. M.   This hotel needs a big refurbishment its a bit outdated the tv was very small and old and didnt work. fridge is old as well with a crap mini-bar ...

  this hotel needs a big refurbishment its a bit outdated the TV was very small and old and didnt work. fridge is old as well with a crap mini-bar gross green carpets they need a new swimming pool and spa as i saw bits of tile in the spa missing . beds are ok location is good its close to everything I expected better from a marriott chain
